What we supply
We supply MCBs in single, double, triple and four pole versions, in B, C and D curves, from L&T (Lauritz Knudsen) Exora, Schneider Electric Acti9 xC60 and Siemens Betagard 5SL6. They suit final-circuit protection in homes, shops, offices and industrial distribution boards.

What is the difference between an MCB and an RCCB?
An MCB protects a circuit against overload and short circuit. An RCCB detects earth-leakage current and switches off to protect people from electric shock and to reduce fire risk. Most installations use both together.
Which RCCB sensitivity should I choose?
30 mA RCCBs are used for protection of people in homes and offices. 100 mA and 300 mA RCCBs are used for equipment and fire protection on larger circuits.
What do B, C and D curves mean on an MCB?
The curve shows how quickly the MCB trips on a current surge. B curve suits lighting and resistive loads, C curve suits general and mixed loads, and D curve suits motors, transformers and other loads with high starting current.
