What we supply
We stock Selec digital panel meters in the standard panel sizes of 48 × 48, 48 × 96, 72 × 72 and 96 × 96 mm. The single-phase ammeters (MA501, MA12, MA202, MA302) and voltmeters (MV507, MV15, MV205, MV305) are true RMS, with LED or LCD displays. The three-phase MA2301 ammeter and MV2307 voltmeter have a built-in selector switch to read each phase on one meter.
For energy monitoring we supply Selec multifunction meters: the MFM384 with %THD measurement, the economical LCD MFM383A, the LED MFM376 with run-hour measurement, and the 4-module DIN-rail MFM384-R-C. One multifunction meter shows voltage, current, frequency, power factor, power and energy (kWh), so it can replace several separate meters on a panel.

Which do I need: an ammeter, a voltmeter or a multifunction meter?
An ammeter shows current and a voltmeter shows voltage. A multifunction meter shows both, plus frequency, power factor, power and energy, and is the usual choice for incomers and main feeders. Separate ammeters and voltmeters suit simpler panels and individual feeders.
Do digital ammeters need a CT?
For most panel loads, yes. Panel ammeters and multifunction meters read the current through a current transformer (CT). Tell us the CT ratio or the maximum load current, and we will confirm the right meter.
What is the difference between LED and LCD panel meters?
LED displays are bright and easy to read from a distance. LCD displays can show more at once, such as several readings or a bar graph, and use less power.
Which sizes are available?
Standard panel cut-outs of 48 × 48, 48 × 96, 72 × 72 and 96 × 96 mm. Multifunction meters are mostly 96 × 96 mm, and the MFM384-R-C mounts on a DIN rail.
