What we supply
We stock Selec digital temperature controllers in 48 × 48, 72 × 72 and 96 × 96 mm panel sizes: single-display models such as the TC513AX, TC203AX and TC303AX, and the dual-display TC544A that shows the measured temperature and the set point together. They take thermocouple or RTD (Pt100) sensor input and have relay or SSR output.
To display temperature without controlling it, we supply the Selec PIC101A-T temperature indicator. To switch heaters from a controller's SSR output, we stock Selec solid state relays from 25 A to 90 A with DC or AC control input. They are used on moulding, packaging and sealing machines, ovens, furnaces and process heating panels.

Which sensor do I need for a temperature controller?
Thermocouples, such as J or K type, cover a wide range up to high temperatures. RTD (Pt100) sensors are more accurate at moderate temperatures. Selec controllers accept both. Tell us your sensor and temperature range, and we will suggest the right model.
What is the difference between relay output and SSR output?
A relay output switches a contactor or a small load through a mechanical contact. An SSR output sends a DC signal to a solid state relay, which switches the heater silently and much more often, giving steadier temperature control.
How do I choose an SSR rating?
Choose an SSR rated well above the heater current and mount it on a heat sink, because SSRs get warm in use. For example, a 15 A heater is usually paired with a 25 A or 40 A SSR.
What is the difference between a temperature controller and a temperature indicator?
A controller measures the temperature and switches the heater or cooler to hold a set point. An indicator only displays the temperature.
