What we supply
A motor protection circuit breaker (MPCB) protects a motor against short circuit, overload and phase loss in one unit, and isolates it for maintenance. We supply Siemens SIRIUS 3RV2 MPCBs in sizes S00 to S3 from 0.11 A to 100 A, Schneider Electric TeSys GV2ME (push-button) and GV2P (rotary) from 0.1 to 32 A and GV3P up to 80 A, and L&T (Lauritz Knudsen) MOG MPCBs: MOG-S1 rocker type and MOG-H1 / MOG-H2 rotary types up to 63 A.
Set the MPCB's overload dial to the motor's full-load current. With a contactor it forms a compact DOL starter without a separate overload relay: Siemens 3RV with SIRIUS 3RT, Schneider GV2 with TeSys Deca and L&T MOG with MO contactors, using the makers' link modules.

What is an MPCB?
A motor protection circuit breaker switches and protects a motor. It trips on short circuit, on overload set by its adjustable dial, and on phase loss, so one unit replaces a fuse or MCB plus a thermal overload relay.
How do I choose the MPCB rating?
Pick the MPCB whose setting range covers the motor's full-load current on the nameplate. For example, a 7.5 HP (5.5 kW) motor drawing about 11 A at 415 V suits a 9–14 A or 10–16 A MPCB. Send us the nameplate and we will confirm the model.
